Supporting Families Through Behavior Services
Sessions are designed similarly to a personal trainer, where students are challenged to move through various circuits of static and dynamic exercises and pushed to their physical limits. Each session begins with direct instruction in the Zones of Regulation curriculum and Therapeutic Crisis Intervention de-escalation techniques. Students learn to identify their baselines by connecting feelings to behaviors, and practice using a variety of coping strategies to determine which tools are most effective for when they are dysregulated.
