New clients must schedule an initial call to begin the onboarding process, which you can do here. Returning clients are able to schedule ongoing sessions through our scheduling page.
We offer a range of educational services including tutoring, behavior therapy, and advocacy support. Find our services page here.
Academically, we offer reading and writing support within individual and group settings. Individual sessions run for fifty minutes, and classes are seventy-five minutes. Learn more about all the components of our academic programming here.
No, we do not offer Wilson-certified tutoring. Our programing utilizes excellent curricular materials, which includes Wilson FUNdations and Wilson Reading System. Our tutors attend Dyslexia conferences to ensure our pedagogical methods are up-to-date with current field research. We offer cooperative programs created by parent, tutor and student, that attend to both the academic skills necessary and the social-emotional support required to become a proficient reader.
No, we do not offer ABA therapy. Our behavior specialist, Tre Jackson, has spent almost two decades working alongside behavior professionals such as BCBAs and RBTs, including training and coaching them in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention de-escalation techniques. Our literacy curricular materials are: Wilson FUNdations; Wilson Reading System; Flyleaf Decodables; Logic of English Sight Word Practice; The Writing Revolution; Therapeutic Crisis Intervention; and Zones of Regulation.
Families are offered the option to become members of the Kind Cooperative community, which includes...tbd. Families who opt out of the membership program are able to register for programming as needed.
